Guest ArtistsSkylar Campbell was born in Laguna Beach, and trained with Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky and mentor and coach David Allan in Orange County. He joined National Ballet of Canada as an Apprentice in 2009 and was promoted to Principal Dancer in 2018. He is also the Artistic Director of the Skylar Campbell Dance Collectiv.
Reka Gyulai received her professional training at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest, Hungary, where she was trained by prominent ballet figures including Imre Dózsa, Zoltán Solymosi, and Mark Diamond. She was a Principal Dancer with California Ballet.

Lester Gonzalez graduated from the National Ballet School of Havana, Cuba and joined Laura Alonzo Ballet in 2011 before emigrating to the U.S. He has performed lead and featured roles in the classical and contemporary repertoire, including with Ballet San Antonio, San Diego Opera, and Arizona Opera. He is now a member of Dayton Ballet.
Jaclyn Oakley is a ballerina with National Ballet of Canada and a member of the Skylar Campbell Dance Collective.
Shannon Quirk, a Southern California native, began her training with Orange County Regional Ballet and earned a BFA at UC Irvine, then joined Madison Ballet. She is formerly with Ballet Tucson, and we are thrilled to have her as a ballet instructor at Ballet Academy & Movement.
Holly Meacham was born in Sheffield, England and began studying dance at the age of 5 at San Elijo Dance Academy. She has studied with former Pacific Northwest Ballet Principals, Laurie-Michelle and Ben Houk, and with Ms. Cobb. She is currently with California Ballet.
Joshua Binowitz trained more than 10 years under his mother in Orange County and spent summers at the ABT JKO School and San Francisco Ballet School with full scholarships. A 2020/21 Trainee with Ballet Austin, he joined Tulsa Ballet for their 2021/22 season.
Jasmine Gilbert trained with Ms. Cobb at OCSA and at the ABT Gillespie School for 6 years. She was Clara in Alexei Ratmansky’s Nutcracker West Coast ABT debut.
Clara Attlesey has trained in ballet with Ms. Cobb for two years. She attended the 2020 and 2021 ABT summer intensives.
Composer and Bassist
Matt Hare, composer and bassist for our program today, is on the faculties at UC Irvine, Concordia University, and Saddleback College, and is a string coach at Irvine and Trabuco Hills High Schools. Dr. Hare is the principal bass of the Mozart Classical Orchestra and assistant principal of the Long Beach Ballet, and freelances with many ensembles in Southern California, including the San Bernardino and San Diego Symphonies.
