​Ballet Academy & Movement has it all!

Ballet Academy & Movement offers a full complement of dance and movement classes for all ages, levels, and styles. We offer studio classes, which run monthly, offering ballet to contemporary to hip-hop, ninja, and combo classes that have a little bit of everything. We offer ballet and dance intensives, camps, and workshops to improve technique and focus on a particular aspect.

​Our wide range of ballet styles and dance techniques will nurture and guide you to a future full of versatility and possibility. We can prepare you for auditions for summer programs, company auditions, school placements, and competitions. We've been in your shoes and we know what you need to move into the career of your dreams.

Ballet Academy & Movement is for ages 3 to 103. But it's not just for kids. Come take an adult ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, or stretching class! Have a Pilates or GYROTONIC® session in our downstairs Pilates studio.

• ​30-45-60 minute class/week: $125/month
• 60-90minute class/week: $150/month
• ​105-120min class/week: $200/month
• Add your second day of training for only $100 
  
• Company $425- Three mandatory days a week
  
• ​Unlimited Company $550

Holidays and Closures

Our holidays and closure dates are listed in our calendar shown above. We have accounted for holiday and closure dates in our tuition rates.

Absences and Makeups

Missed classes due to holidays and studio closures are factored in to tuition and not eligible for makeups.

Absences: Please submit an absence in your online portal. This is required in order to schedule a makeup class. While preferable to do so before the absence happens so the teacher knows why the student is not in class that day, after the absence is fine too.

To log an absence, in your portal, click Attendance and then click Report Absence. Select your dancer, select the dates for the absence, enter the reason for the absence, and click Next. Confirm the dates and click Submit Absence.

Makeups: To schedule a makeup class for an absence, please email us the makeup class date and time you would like to take. Makeups must be completed within the same month of absence, with our approval. We will email you a class makeup confirmation.

Withdrawals & Dropping Classes

We require at least 30 days email notice for withdrawal or cancellation from classes. After we receive your withdrawal email, we will drop your child from class.  

To add a class to your schedule, simply go to your parent portal and add the class. Some classes require teacher/director approval; in these cases, please email us.

To drop a class, email us to request the drop. 

Trials

You may take one free trial. Please email us to schedule your trial.

Additional trials may be taken on a drop-in basis, depending on the class. The cost varies with the length of the class. Please see the class schedule in your portal for drop-in availability and cost.

Drop-Ins

Drop-ins are a great way to try new classes if you can't make class every week or before you commit to the class.

If you are not yet registered for any classes, start with your free trial (you can schedule online for any class that allows drop-ins), then you can schedule drop-ins, if available, as available in the class schedule in your portal.

Drop-in cost depends on the class. Please inquire if you want more information.

Auto-pay must be set up on your account and drop-ins paid before you take the drop-in.

Ballet Program

Ballet Academy & Movement offers a full complement of ballet classes for all levels, from beginner to professional, ages 3 to adult. 

• Ballet and Movement classes: A movement class including fundamentals of dance, ballet, and music. Allows children to explore their creativity and love for dance and music.​

We offer privates and semi-privates for the pre-professional and professional elite dancer who wants to perfect their art in a small, safe, and clean space with the highest level of teaching. This is the perfect opportunity to work on a piece, prepare for an audition or performance, and master your technique.

It doesn't matter if you're a beginner to a professional, we give you opportunities to perform in an affirming and welcoming environment. Whether you just want to dance for the sheer joy of it or you're preparing for an important audition, summer program, or company, our classes prepare you for performance, and performance prepares you for the world! Pilates & Movement Program

Our Pilates and Movement program is the perfect complement to any dance and fitness program! 

Ms. Cobb has been a Pilates and GYROTONIC®️ instructor since 2010. Until COVID hit, she owned and operated WC Pilates in Costa Mesa. With the opening of her new studio, she is thrilled to be able to offer Pilates and movement again.
