Founder and former director of the ABT Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Ms. Alaine Haubert has been associated with American Ballet Theatre since 1965 as a dancer, coach, Ballet Mistress, adjudicator, director of Summer Intensives, and advisor for the ABT National Training Curriculum. She received her preprofessional training at the School of American Ballet with George Balanchine and his illustrious post Diaghilev faculty, danced the ABT classical repertory, and worked directly with choreographers Antony Tudor, Jerome Robbins, Agnes de Mille, Glen Tetley, Eliot Feld, and Birgit Cullberg, among others.
