​Ballet Academy & Movement has it all!

Ballet Academy & Movement offers a full complement of dance and movement classes for all ages, levels, and styles. We offer studio classes, which run monthly, offering ballet to contemporary to hip-hop, ninja, and combo classes that have a little bit of everything. We offer ballet and dance intensives, workshops, and track classes to improve technique and focus on a particular aspect.

​Our wide range of ballet styles and dance techniques will nurture and guide you to a future full of versatility and possibility. We can prepare you for auditions for summer programs, company auditions, school placements, and competitions. We've been in your shoes and we know what you need to move into the career of your dreams.

Ballet Academy & Movement is for ages 3 to 103. But it's not just for kids. Come take an adult ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, or stretching class! Have a Pilates or GYROTONIC® session in our downstairs Pilates studio. 

​Class Tuition

• ​Regular 45-55 minute classes: $75 per month for 1  class/week, $70 per month for each additional class/week/student.
• 75- and 85-90 minute Classes: $100 per month for ​1 class/week, $95 per month for each additional  class/week/student.
• ​Unlimited regular classes/month: $420 (must register for classes, not available for drop-in).

We have accounted for closure dates in our tuition rates. We are happy to offer you makeup classes for classes missed during closure, as long as they are arranged in advance with the studio and taken within 30 days.

Absences and Makeups

Absences: Please submit an absence in your online portal, which is required in order to schedule a makeup class. While preferable to do so before the absence happens so the teacher knows why the student is not in class that day, after the absence is fine too.

To log an absence, in your portal, click Attendance and then click Report Absence. Select the student, select the dates, enter the reason for the absence, and click Next. Confirm the dates and click Submit Absence.

Makeups: To schedule a makeup class for an absence, please email us the makeup class date and time to take. Makeups must be completed within the same month of absence.

Missed classes due to holidays and studio closures are factored in to tuition and not eligible for makeups.

Withdrawals & Dropping Classes

We require at least 30 days email notice for withdrawal or cancellation from classes. After we receive your withdrawal email, we will drop your child from class. 

To add a class to your schedule, simply go to your parent portal and add the class. Some classes require teacher/director approval; in these cases, please email us

​Class Cards

We offer class cards in our parent portal: Four classes: $125​. You may use the class cards for any class that is not

To purchase a class card, go to your parent portal, click Punch, then select the type and enter the quantity. The expiration period for class cards begins on the date of the first class used. 

Drop-Ins

Not ready to commit to a monthly tuition or class card or want to try several different classes? Drop-in classes are the way to go! Purchase drop-in classes on our parent portal. Registration fee and class drop-in fee must be paid in advance of class.

• Regular 45- to 60-min class drop-in: $30/class, paid in advance.
• 75-90 min regular class drop-in: $35/class, paid in advance.

Ballet Program

Ballet Academy & Movement offers a full complement of ballet classes for all levels, from beginner to professional, ages 3 to adult. 

• Ballet and Movement classes: A movement class including fundamentals of dance, ballet, and music. Allows children to explore their creativity and love for dance and music.​

We offer privates and semi-privates for the pre-professional and professional elite dancer who wants to perfect their art in a small, safe, and clean space with the highest level of teaching. This is the perfect opportunity to work on a piece, prepare for an audition or performance, and master your technique.

Whether you just want to dance for the sheer joy of it or you're preparing for an important audition, summer program, or company, our classes prepare you for performance, and performance prepares you for the world! Pilates & Movement Program

Our Pilates and Movement program is the perfect complement to any dance and fitness program! 

Ms. Cobb has been a Pilates and GYROTONIC®️ instructor since 2010. Until COVID hit, she owned and operated WC Pilates in Costa Mesa. With the opening of her new studio, she is thrilled to be able to offer Pilates and movement again.
